Our Story

UEC is in its 31st year of business as electrical contractors doing business in the states of Kansas and Colorado. In all that time we have never failed to successfully complete a project On Budget and On Time. Projects range all the way from simple service calls to complex industrial electrical installations. Our company takes great pride in the many industrial, commercial and residential projects over the years. Our constant commitment to quality has enabled us to maintain a strong base of repeat customers which has always been the secret to the continued success of Urban Electric Company for nearly 3 decades now!

Over the years we have successfully completed critical projects with stringent specifications for The Army Corp. of Engineers, Denver Water Board, and NORAD, to name a few. Having been based in Colorado Springs for the past 20 years we pride our company for having built a fine local reputation. In addition to new construction subcontracting for many of the best general contractors in the area we also service the majority of the water districts in the region, doing maintenance, repair, upgrades and control systems. Being experts in motor control and instrumentation, we naturally are geared toward critical work with the highest quality control standards. Having internalized these high quality standards, we also automatically incorporate them into our Service Department and Commercial Construction projects.
